The popular form of a Proverbs 31 Woman is known as pretty cliche. It makes me sad to know that so many people are missing out on this amazing picture of a person that God describes for us.
If you read Proverbs 31: 10 - 31 you will find in depth examples of how to be a woman that pleases the Lord. She is a good worker and a strong provider for her family. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and the Lord blesses her for it.

Q&A
Is it meant for all women or just the women who are mothers and wives?
It is meant for all women! You don't have to be a mother or a wife. You can follow these things forever, from when you are a little girl to when you are very old. I started exploring this passage when I was 14. If you aren't married or don't have kids, try to follow them and replace the husband/ children with your existing family or friends or even someone you meet in the grocery store.
Do I have to do exactly what the passage says? For example I am not crafty, but it says to sell homemade goods.
No, you don't have to do the exact thing that the passage says. I do encourage you to read the passage so that you will get the full context. When it says to sell homemade goods, it means that the woman is a provider. She doesn't make her husband or the people around her do all the providing. She also takes time to do things. You don't have to be artsy, just make sure that you help out your family in some way, shape, or form.
What can I do to become a Proverbs 31 Woman other than follow the things above?
Make sure that you follow the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:22 - 23. Also, try to be nice and helpful to everyone around you. Make sure that Jesus is in your heart!
Well said!
