July 4th: Verse of the Day!!

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17

I like this verse because is it so straight up about the fact that with God you have freedom. It doesn't beat around the bush or even just sugar coat it more. it gets straight to the point. Even from the beginning of time there was freedom. In the Garden of Eden there was freedom to eat whatever tree they please, but they weren't supposed to eat one tree. And we know that they still did so therefore they had the choice to eat it or not. We still have just as simple of choices today and we have many more, we have to remember this verse. When it is of the devil it feels like bondage, but when it is of the Lord it feels like freedom. Have a blessed 4th of July!!!
