June 25: Psalm 56:8

You have kept count of my tossings, put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your books? Psalm 56:8

This verse is one that I want to stick in my brain for when I am sad. It shows that even if we think that we are alone that we are not actually alone. Because God keeps our tears in a bottle and he keeps track of how many times we are sad. We may not feel his presence, but he is there. How else would he gather our tears and put them in a bottle if he didn't catch them right off of our faces. That might not be how God does it, but I like to imagine it that way!
