May 21: Verse of the week!

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:6

I have just recently found out how to pray with your actual heart instead of just using fancy words and trying to make it sound perfect! If you want I can try to tell you about that in another post, but you should let me know if you have any ideas for what I should start to post!

This verse is convicting when you dig into it because on the outside it might not seem like much, but it is showing what God thinks of a doubtful man. He calls a man who is doubtful like a wave of the sea that gets thrown about. I don't know about you, but I don't like getting pushed around in every which way direction. Also I think it is important to note that this is in the aspect of praying. I think it is interesting that when we pray, we should pray like we have already received what we are praying for!
