April 8: Verse of the day!

”So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “ Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I have said this on the account of people standing by, that they may believe that you sent me.” John 11:41-42

I really think that this verse shows how much God listens to us. Jesus says that he is thankful towards God for listening to him, then he follows up with the fact that God always listens to him. This is partially because Jesus is the son of God, but we are made in God's image, so he listens to us as well. In another verse in the Bible it says if you ask you shall receive, we can discuss that verse later, but I hope you have an amazing Tuesday and God bless!
